Testy!

Anna linked me to some fun procrastination tests, so I am passing them along.

Test your color perception!

Test your pitch perception!
http://tonometric.com/adaptivepitch/

Test if you're tone deaf!

... okay, maybe fun only for us. WE LIKE TESTS OKAY.

Yay, I got within the range of normal performance in the first tonedeaf test! 77.8% correct!

I have a fine sense of pitch! WOW.

Wow, I am getting exceptionally normal scores on most of these tests!

I was 88.9%--"very good" (!)--on tone-deafness. I guess I can't claim to be tone deaf anymore. But telling whether notes go up or down, which is what I have trouble with, is actually pitch, according to those tests, and I'm on the low side of normal on that. Anna, who sent me these tests, really is tone-deaf (she did fine on the pitch test), and nobody believes her, and it's all because of LIARS LIKE ME trying to justify our choice not to (a) learn to play an instrument and/or (b) practice playing our instrument.
