Alive!

Arrived safely in Dublin. There have been various standard minor misadventures, such as being dropped off in an unprepossessing alley by an uncertain cabbie, and being stuck in a courtyard with the wrong keys. So far we have only been to a sandwich shop and a small grocery store with a HUGE candy aisle. <3

I love talking about euros. It makes me feel like I'm Vince Noir.

The candy situation in GB is good. Spekaing of VN, do they have Tescos there?

Yes, they do only here it is called Tesco Ireland.

We played hangman on the bus to Drogheda today. E made up a rhyme, "BAR FOOD IS OUR FOOD" so I countered with "BEST GO / TO TESCO / LET'S GO" which the Tesco Corporation is welcome to use.

Way back when I went to Ireland, we'd go mad for going into little grocery stores and loading up on anything labeled "digestives". Hope you're having fun!

I love digestives! On our honeymoon, Paul and I ate about a third of a sleeve each for most meals. He had dark chocolate ones and I had milk chocolate ones. They were good car food.

Paul, Ireland is NOT GB. !!!! My ancestors are rolling around in their potato-starved graves.
