Name the holiday movie from which the quote is extracted.

1. What's the use of having all this jack around if it can't get us a superior kind of man?

2. The de rigeurest. Junior Miss, id'd by [livejournal.com profile] mamaredcloud

3. I speak French, but that doesn't make me Joan of Arc.  Miracle on 34th Street, id'd by Caolan

4. It appears to be an acute epileptoid manifestation and a pan phobic melancholiac with indication of a neurasthenia cordus.

5. Three days is quite long enough for both of us. A Christmas Carol, id'd by [livejournal.com profile] mamaredcloud

6. In some ways, you're far superior to my cocker spaniel. White Christmas, id'd by Jen

7. There are more important things than comfort: self respect! Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, id'd by [livejournal.com profile] mamaredcloud

8. I was always kinda partial to Roy Rogers, actually. I really like those sequined shirts.

9. I tried to find out who it was, but I couldn't find out. Nobody would ever tell you because they'd be scared!

10. If this is music, what's that stuff Cole Porter writes? The World of Henry Orient, id'd by [livejournal.com profile] mamaredcloud

6. White Christmas, one of the ultimate classics. Said by Danny Kaye, yet another ultimate classic.

Wow, these are TOUGH!

The only one I could get right away is the Joan of Arc one. That's Miracle on 34th Street, and it's cheating because we've been watching it in segments for the last couple of days.

I think I made them too hard!

Can I guess without being sure? Is 7 from the Peanuts Christmas special? And is 8 from A Christmas Story?

Neither of those movies are represented in the puzzle, sadly.

Are none of these from It's A Wonderful Life? That's the only holiday movie I've memorized. Which will make it more embarassing when it turns out one of these actually is from that movie...

OMG it is the hardest IAWL quote EVER. :D

I Googled all of these and I don't think I ever would have gotten them! I sort of suspected which one was IAWL but I sort of suspected some other ones, too. It is a hilarious choice.

I googled them and I still don't know which one's IAWL. And I just watched it last night!

#2 - Junior Miss (said about smoking a pipe at a formal dance)
#5 - A Christmas Carol (that's how long Scrooge's father could stand having him around the house)
#7 - Rudolph (his father telling him to wear a false nose)
#10 - The World of Henry Orient

9. It's a Wonderful Life!

(by the way this is Paul)

Bonus question:

"It was a night never to be forgotten!" (or words to that effect)
