lauraredcloud at 09:18am on 11/12/2007Continuing the "how I bungle song lyrics" posts, "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" has that line, "What do I care / If it should snow," which I always want to sing thanks to my <i>Les Mis</i> upbringing as "What do I care / Who you should rob."
I've been meaning to tell you about some amusing license plates. (And the fun never stops!) Ontario recently moved to a 4 letters-3 numbers system, starting at the beginning of the alphabet. On my way to work each day I pass a minivan labelled "AVAN" and a sleek black sports car labelled "ARES." Whenever I see it I say "Aaaaares," in that cautious/resigned/delighted Xena voice.
I guess the theme of this post is "how you will forever see the world through the lens of things you were obsessed with when you were eleven."
